It has been proven through studies that time outdoors helps a child's brain to develop. One of the best ways that a child learns is through experience, discovery, and exploration. When a child is young, there are many new things to experience outdoors that a child cannot always experience indoors including: seeing and feeling the sunlight; smelling aromas in the air; and seeing and feeling different textures.
As a child grows and develops, the outdoor environment offers new learning experiences where kids can work on developing motor skills while playing, improve language skills while trying to name new things, and strengthen their body with physical activity. In time, children also begin to develop social skills while playing with friends outdoors, enhance creativity and imagination, and expend some extra energy.
It is proven that outdoor time is great for development, but sometimes it is hard to persuade children to play outside. Don't worry, we are here to help. Check out the variety of outdoor toys we offer at www.kid-krazy.com.
